Kazakhstan can reduce tourist transportation prices

Kazakhstan Tourist Association president Rosa Asanbayeva made a proposal to reduce the prices for tourist transportation to such resorts in the country as Burabai and mountain ski resorts near Almaty, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
"The subsidies should be given to the national carriers in the period of forming such large resorts as Burabai and mountain ski resorts around Almaty," Asanbayeva said on Tuesday at the governmental meeting.
Tourist Association director Rashida Shaikenova said that domestic passenger transportation can decrease in price through abolition of VAT.
A governmental meeting on tourism development was held on Astana on Tuesday.
