Kazakh President to visit Belarus in May

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to Belarus in May, Kazakh Ministry's spokesman Altai Abibullaev said at the briefing on Monday, Kazinform reported.
"Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev will pay an official visit to Belarus on May 12-14. Within the visit our President will hold talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko," Abibullaev said.
The parties will discuss state and prospects of Belarusian-Kazakh cooperation in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields. Moreover, it is planned to exchange views on a wide range of issues on the international agenda.
"Particular attention in the negotiation will be paid to cooperation in the industrial, agricultural, scientific, technical, transport and investment spheres, as well as effective implementation of the plan of joint actions in 2012-2013 within the Roadmap and the Program of economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus in 2009-2016," Foreign Ministry's spokesman said.
Moreover, Nazarbaev and Lukashenko will discuss the issues of cooperation within the regional integration organizations: the CIS, EurAsEC, Customs Union, Common Economic Space and Collective Security Treaty Organization.
