Bilateral Kazakh - Tajik relations remain stable and built on the basis of good neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation, Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Tajikistan Agybay Smagulov said at the Kazakh-Tajik business forum in Dushanbe, Asia-plus reported.

Moreover, Smagulov believes that these relations will continue developing.

"The Tajik-Kazakh relations show their stability and friendly nature, tending to gradual intensifying the quality ," Smagulov said.

Kazakhstan is one of Tajikistan's main trade partners. In 2011, the trade turnover between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan was estimated at $357.4 million, which is 49 percent more than in 2009.
