Mi-17 helicopter of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has crashed during a training flight in Astana. The four crew members died, the Ministry of Defence said.
"The helicopter of the Kazakh Defense Ministry has crashed today at 8:00 am during the training flights in the terminal area of Astana. The crew members died," the Ministry of Defence said.
An interdepartmental committee has been created to investigate the accident. Representatives of Central Control and Public Safety Aviation, the Ministry of Defence, the Prosecutor's Office, the military investigation department of the Interior Ministry are working at the scene of the accident.
"The causes of helicopter crash will be defined by the end of the commission's work," the department noted said.
