Number of people killed in the Aksai Gorge in Kazakhstan's Ili-Alatau National Park may increase to twelve, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to official representative of the Kazakh Internal Affairs Ministry Nurdilda Oraz.

"The investigation did not rule out the possibility that there is one more victim remains in the forest ranger's burned house. This information can be confirmed or denied only by forensic examination," Oraz said on Wednesday at the press-briefing.

Oraz noted that, an investigative activity on the case is underway.

Eleven people were found killed in the Aksai Gorge on Aug.13-14. They all died from multiple stab wounds. Well-known forest ranger Panayot Zaharopulo, his family members and employees of the park are among the dead.
