Kazakh National Geological Exploration Company "Kazgeology " and "Korea resources corporation" (KORES) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Astana, Kazgeology said today.
The document was signed by Kazgeology board chairman Bulat Uzhkenov and KORES president Koh Jung Sik.
The main purpose of the memorandum is to establish a base for cooperation between the two sides through joint exploration for mining projects in Kazakhstan on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
Kazgeology and KORES have reached consensus within the memorandum.
According to the report, the parties will exchange the necessary information on mineral resources, geological data in accordance with the legislation of the two countries within the memorandum in the future. The joint research and technical-economic development of the projects on mineral resources will be conducted.
