Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will not participate in the summit of Heads of States and Governments of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), to be held in Baku on October 16, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
"The Kazakh delegation will be headed by Minister of Transport and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev," the Foreign Ministry said.
The regional economic relations in transportation, agriculture, energy and the environment, as well as further integration of the ECO member-states, social- cultural and scientific-technological development of the ECO member-states will be discussed at the summit.
The Baku Declaration is planned to be adopted following the summit.
