One-and-a-half-year-old child among those killed in plane crash near Almaty

One-and-a-half-year-old child was among those killed in the plane crash near Almaty, the press-service of SCAT Airlines said on Tuesday.
According to the company, Bakhytzhan Bekzhan, born in 2011, was on board with his parents Galymzhan Duisenov and Indira Rakhymbek.
On January 29, 2013, at about 13:00, a Challenger-200 aircraft of SCAT Airline, flight No.760 on route from Kokshetau to Almaty crashed five kilometers short of the runway at Almaty.
According to preliminary information, the accident was caused by thick fog.
A criminal case has been initiated surrounding the crash. A special government commission will hold the investigation. Some 21 people were killed in the accident.
