The geological research center will be established in Kazakhstan, acting chairman of the board of Kazgeologiya National Geological Exploration Company Galim Nurjanov said at a meeting on the Day of Geologist.
"We offer to establish a geological research center," he said. "The work in this direction is underway. "The centre will bring together industrial, scientific and educational potential of the country to develop and implement best practice, innovative ideas, exploration methods and technologies following the example of foreign countries on the basis of Kazgeologiya company.
He added that processing and integrated interpretation of geological, geophysical, geochemical data, integrated analysis, computer modeling and estimation of expected resources according to the international standards are among the main activities of the center.
"The center will deal with laboratory analytical, geochemical research and pilot and scientific-experimental work," he said. "Currently, it is known that the Nazarbayev University is ready to allot a land plot for the center."
