Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev thinks that Eurasian Economic Community should be dissolved and Customs Union expanded, since there is no need for 2 parallel organization with similar policies, CA-NEWS reported.

The EurAsEC includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The Eurasian Economic Union of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, which is planned for 2015, is aimed at becoming the most advanced form of economic integration of three countries that already have common customs territory with total GDP of 85% from the GDP of the CIS.

According to the President, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan may join the Customs Union as observer states, and Armenia should go through all necessary procedures to become a member of the Customs Union.
Nazarbaev also added that the countries are not reconstructing the USSR and proposed the candidature of Turkey to the CU membership.
