By Daniyar Mukhtarov - Trend: Up to 200,000 people will be involved in preparations for ЕХРО-2017 in Kazakhstan, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Erbolat Dosaev said on Nov.7.
"These will be involved in contractor organisations by 2017. When the feasibility study is ready, we will announce the number exactly," Erbolat Dosaev said on Nov.7 during the presentation of the bill 'On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan Republic on the issue of arrangement and holding of the international specialized exhibition - ЕХРО-2017 in Astana'.
According to the minister, the Kazakh government made amendments to the law 'On employment' to attract quotes from foreign experts in order to arrange and hold the international specialised exhibition called ЕХРО-2017 in Astana.
"The law 'On employment' is supplemented by the provision in its paragraphs about attracting people working in organisations carrying out activity on arrangement and holding the international exhibition as well as the members or employees of the international exhibition from a quote for attracting a foreign work force," the minister said.
According to him, the amendment is made in order to simplify the process of attracting foreign experts with extensive experience on designing and construction of world class facilities with elements of new and energy-saving technology within EXPO-2017.
