Kazakh-Italian business forum held in Italian Livorno

Kazakh ambassador to Italia Andrian Elemesov held bilateral meetings with political and business circles of one of the largest regions of Italy, Tuscany, at the invitation of the Livorno Chamber of Commerce, press-service of Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry said.
During the negotiations with the president of Chamber of Commerce, Roberto Nardi, as well as the mayors of Pietrasanta, Seravezza, Statsema and Forte dei Marmi, the issues related to the establishment of contacts and development of mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan's regions were discussed. An agreement was reached on visits by provincial delegations.
Within the visit the Kazakh ambassador organized and held a business forum dedicated to the issues of investment and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Italy. The leaders of some 50 different enterprises representing the key economic sectors of Tuscany region took part in the forum's work.
In order to attract the Italian firms to the implementation of the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development Program of Kazakhstan, Elemesov held negotiations with the leadership of "Henraux S.p.a" company and visited the manufacturing sector and marble quarry.
An important point of the visit program was the meeting of the Kazakh Ambassador with the faculty and students of the University of Pisa, one of the largest educational institutions in Italy. In his speech the Kazakh diplomat highlighted the main provisions of domestic and foreign policy of Kazakhstan, familiarized the participants with the current situation and prospects for development of Kazakhstan's economy and bilateral Kazakh-Italian cooperation in various fields.
