Earthquake measuring 3.9 jolts Kazakhstan

An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale was recorded in Kazakh Almaty region on May 12, Kazakhstan's Seismological Expedition of the Science Committee under Education and Science Ministry reported.
The earthquake occurred at 5:15 a.m. Almaty time (May 11, 11:15 p.m. Greenwich time), 233 kilometres to the south-east from the city of Almaty.
There is no information about victims or damage.
