Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Shell concern, Ben van Beurden during the 27th plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council, Acorda (residence of Kazakhstan's president) said.
"The issues related to the further development of the country's oil and gas sphere and implementation of key investment projects were discussed during the meeting," according to the website of Acorda.
Shell International brings together various energy and petrochemical enterprises and is a large investor in Kazakhstan's oil and gas sphere.
