Kazakhtelecom JSC plans to continuously increase shareholder value within the framework of the transformation program, the chairman of the board of the national company Kuanyshbek Yessekeyev told reporters Oct.6.
"Today we are discussing the transformation issues of the company," said Yessekeyev. "In 2017, we plan to increase our shareholder value by one-third - it makes 45 billion tenge, and in 2022 we plan to increase it twice."
He said that the transformation of the company is a new step into the future, reconsidering of all expenditures, connection of the company's costs with the business, increasing shareholder value.
"It is important to understand that all processes within the corporation are subject to different influences, and not all of the processes within the company affect or increase its value," he said.
"Transformation is a reconsideration of internal processes and consideration of the processes that can increase value."
He said that many of the processes in the company generate income, but they limit the value of the company itself.
Transformation program was started in January this year, he said. At present, issues within the company are being worked out, Yessekeyev said.
