An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded on Kazakh- Kyrgyz border on Nov. 3, Kazakhstan's Seismological Expedition of the Science Committee under Education and Science Ministry reported.
The earthquake occurred at 11:59 p.m. Almaty time (5:59 p.m. Greenwich time), 88 kilometers to the south-east of the city of Almaty.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 20 kilometers.
There is no information about victims or damage.
