Losses of Kazakhstan Railways in Jan.-Sept. 2015 stood at 219.865 billion tenges (307.21 tenges = $1).
In the same period last year, the railway operator's profits were 15.048 billion tenges, according to financial statement posted on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).
The company's revenues during the first nine months decreased to 549.244 billion tenges, compared to 643.332 billion tenges in the same period 2014.
Meanwhile, the company's incomes from freight transportations in Jan.-Sept. fell to 453.675 billion tenges, while the revenues from passenger transportation decreased to 54.667 billion tenges.
State subsidies of Kazakhstan Railways fell in the same period to 14.631 billion tenges.
