Kazakhstan produced 6.85 million tons of oil in January 2016, including gas condensate, which is 0.5 percent less than in January 2015, the Statistics Committee of the Kazakh National Economy Ministry said.

Some 5.71 million tons of oil and 1.13 million tons of gas condensate were produced in the reporting period.

Gas production increased by 0.5 percent - up to 4.12 billion cubic meters in January 2016.

Gasoline production increased by 4.9 percent - up to 223,100 tons compared to the same period of 2015.

Production of diesel fuel decreased by 30.4 percent - up to 245,500 tons, masut by 16.8 percent - up to 235,000 tons in the reporting period.

Kazakhstan produced 79.5 million tons of oil in 2015, including gas condensate, which is 1.7 percent less than in 2014 and 45.713 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 5.2 percent less than in 2014.
