Former head of Presidential Administration Baglan Mailybaev has been arrested for a period of two months in Kazakhstan, the National Security Committee said Jan. 16.
Mailybaev is charged with Illegal collection, dissemination and disclosure of state secrets. The investigation on his case is ongoing.
Mailybaev was serving as a head of Kazakh President Administration since Oct. 2011. On Jan. 12 2017 he was dismissed from this post by presidential order.
