Kazakhstan will supply railway engineering products to Uzbekistan, said the press office of the Kazakhstan Railways JSC.
The 2nd Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan business forum and exhibition of Kazakh producers were held on September 16 amid the visit of the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Uzbekistan.
During the business forum between Kazakhstan Railways and Uzbekistan Railways, an agreement was signed for the delivery of 5,000 tons of rail until the end of 2017.
Moreover, a long-term contract was concluded for supply of 40,000 tons of quality rail until 2020.
