Prices in the construction industry of Kazakhstan increased by 3.6% in September 2017 compared to December 2016, the Statistics Committee of the Kazakh National Economy Ministry reported.
Since early 2017, prices for construction and installation work increased by 3.9%, for machinery and equipment - by 1.9%, other work and costs went up by 3.8%.
The increase in prices for materials, parts and structures purchased by construction organizations amounted to 2.9%. Portland cement prices increased by 9.7%, bitumen by 7.7%, timber by 4.1%, rubble by 3.6%, sheet glass by 3.1%, paints and enamels by 2, 8%, sand - by 1.8%, pipes - by 1.6%, brick - by 0.8%.
Instead,prices for linoleum decreased by 6.2%, plaster - by 4.6% and plastic products - by 3%.
