President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, the press service of the Kazakh president said.
The sides discussed topical issues of cooperation in the field of defense and cooperation within the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) framework.
Nursultan Nazarbayev and Sergei Shoigu stressed the importance of holding the international exhibition KADEX-2018 in Kazakhstan and pointed out its effectiveness for strengthening interstate relations in the defense-industrial sphere of the two countries.
Kazakhstan will hold KADEX-2018 exhibition from May 23 to May 26, 2018 in the military sector of Astana International Airport.
The list of participants of the exhibition includes Kazakh and foreign enterprises of the defense-industrial complex and space industry, leading design bureaus and research institutes in the field of information security.
