By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

Israel’s Embassy in Kazakhstan has resumed its work in Kazakhstan’s Nur Sultan city, Trend reports with reference to the embassy.

“Dear friends, our embassy and other Israeli diplomatic missions around the work are resuming work as normal. Negotiations between Israeli Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Finance will be continued,” official statement of the embassy reads.

On October 30, 2019, Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it is closing Israeli diplomatic missions abroad.

According to the ministry, the reason is that Israeli Ministry of Finance decided to reduce funding of its diplomatic missions abroad and “unfortunately, leaves us no choice but to close all diplomatic missions”.

Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed hope that the issue will be solved soon.
