Kazakhstan notes increase in volume of housing commissioning

Some 7.7 million square meters of housing were commissioned in Kazakhstan in 7M2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.

According to the information, this figure increased by 10.3 percent compared to the same period in 2020.

In total, over 66,014 dwellings were commissioned in Kazakhstan (including 21,193 individual houses). The increase in the volume of housing commissioning in comparison with last year is noted in all regions.

It is reported that this year it is planned to build 17 million square meters of housing. In general, the index of physical volume for construction amounted to 11.1 percent.

Earlier it was reported that in Kazakhstan in 6M2021, the volume of construction work amounted to 1.825 trillion tenge ($4.3 billion), which is 11.9 percent more than in the same period in 2020. In 6M2021, 989.4 billion tenge ($2.3 billion) was allocated for housing construction (26.6 percent more compared to 6M2020). The main source of financing for housing construction is the own funds of construction companies, the share of which is 76.4 percent.
