Kazakhstan to launch Airbus Aircraft service center

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 10

The Airbus aircraft service center in Kazakhstan will be launched in 2022, Trend reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Furthermore, it is scheduled to start manufacturing Kalashnikov assault rifles of the 2015 model in Kazakhstan's Kokshetau city.

In 2022, domestic defense enterprises plan to implement the following promising projects:

- assembly of Mi-171Sh helicopters on the basis of "Aircraft Repair Plant No. 405";

- establishment of a service center for Airbus aircraft based on Kazakhstan Aviation Industry LLP;

- production of technical means for the security of the State Border at the base of JSC Peter-Paul Heavy Engineering Plant;

- manufacturing of means of radiation and chemical protection on the basis of JSC Tynys, "Alma DK" LLP, and "Militarm";

- modernization of armored vehicles based on Semey Engineering JSC;

- production of automatic ammunition at the base of "Steel manufacturing" LLP;

- manufacturing of armored vehicles "Barys 8x8" on the basis of Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering LLP;

- production of AK-12 and AK-15 assault rifles based on "Tynys" JSC.
