Kazakhstan’s Kazakh Invest JSC has chosen about 30 Azerbaijani companies with which it would like to establish cooperation, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the company Zhandos Temirgali said in an interview with Trend.

Stressing that more than fifty projects were implemented through the support of the company in 2021, Temirgali added that at the same time, 66 new companies were attracted to work in Kazakhstan.

“We are actively working on this issue with our partners from Azerbaijan,” the deputy chairman said. “Several new projects are being implemented. The company has chosen about 30 Azerbaijani companies with which it would like to establish cooperation within the country’s investment program and bilateral investment cooperation with Azerbaijan.”

Temirgali also stressed the intention of the company to continue supporting investors from Azerbaijan.

“I would like to appeal to Azerbaijani investors because the activity was not so high in 2021 and 2020 and we were mainly supporting the current projects,” the deputy chairman said. “However, there is a very good opportunity now for cooperation in the petrochemical, food, transportation and logistics industries with the Azerbaijani businesses and we are very interested in mutual cooperation with these companies.”
