BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. Oil refining volumes have increased in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan's First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar said, Trend reports citing the government.

He noted that the oil refining volume has amounted to 5.9 million tons over the first four months of 2022, which is 5.2 percent more than during the same period last year.

At the same time, diesel fuel production amounted to 1.6 million tons, which is 8.7 percent higher than the same period last year.

Sklyar also noted that the diesel fuel manufacturing volume planned for 2022 is 5.1 million.

"As of May 30 of this year, the volume of diesel fuel at oil depots and refineries is 377,790 tons, which is enough to cover the country's needs for 25 days. The indicative balances say that the supply of imports from the Russia for 2022 is to be in the following volumes: gasoline - up to 5,000 tons, diesel fuel - 520,000 tons, jet fuel - 300,000 tons," he said.

The imports of diesel fuel amounted to 66,000 tons and of jet fuel - 31,000 tons over the reporting period.
