BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. Kazakhstan is ready to provide the most comfortable conditions and comprehensive support on joint projects for the processing of agricultural raw materials, Kazakh Agriculture Minister Yerbol Karashukeyev said, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry.

He said this at the First Meeting of Ministers in charge of agriculture of the Organization of Turkic States and the seventh Meeting of Ministers in charge of agriculture of the Organization of Economic Cooperation member states, which are underway in Tashkent city of Uzbekistan.

"It is necessary to adapt the Organization of Turkic States to new realities and priority areas of cooperation to develop cooperation in the agrarian sector between our countries," Kazakh Agriculture Minister Yerbol Karashukeyev said.

Karashukeyev proposed several measures that the members of the Organization of Turkic States can jointly implement, in particular, expanding the usage of forwarding contract mechanisms in mutual trade in food products.

It was also proposed to increase cooperation in the agricultural sector based on complementarity and effective cooperation, to develop cooperation in animal husbandry and supply of elite seeds areas, strengthen trade relations by removing barriers, mutual recognition of safety certificates, creating ‘green corridors’ for the promotion of food products.

Kazakh ministry invited businessmen from the Turkic region to organize joint projects on the territory of Kazakhstan for the processing of agricultural raw materials (meat and milk, potatoes, sugar beets, oilseeds, fruits, vegetables, and raw hides) for further export to other foreign countries

“Kazakhstan is ready to provide the most comfortable conditions and comprehensive support,” Karashukeyev said.
