BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. North Kazakhstan region produced agriculture products worth more than 1 trillion tenge ($2.1 billion) from January through October 2022,Trend reports via Kazakh media outlets.
This year 22 dairy farms have been built in the region, and another 17 are being built, 8 of them will be launched by the end of the year. Two poultry farms have been opened, and another one is planned to be opened next year.
North Kazakhstan region is the leader in country’s egg production. Besides that, 25 percent of the country’s wheat is grown in this region, and a third of oilseeds is grown there.
