BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. Kazakhstan’s “Air Astana” expanded its air fleet by purchasing an additional А321LR, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.

The airplane, capable of transporting 166 passengers, containing 15 business class seats and 150 economy class seats, was delivered early December 14.

Consequently, the air fleet of Air Astana now consists of 29 planes, with 10 of them being А321LRs.

The purchase of the plane is a part of the Kazakh airlines' strategy to expand the air fleet, which is intended to decrease the number of delays and improve the level of service.

By the end of February, 2023 5 additional planes are expected to be delivered to Kazakh air carriers. Thus, the carrying capacity of Kazakh airlines will increase by 20 percent.
