BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 14. Repair work on the Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery concluded and production restored, Trend reports, citing the press service of KazMunayGas.
The press service of the national oil and gas company of Kazakhstan notes that the hydrogen production unit is back online.
Hydrogen production was decreased on 10 February and the work to fix the malfunction commenced.
Repair work was concluded on 13 February, and currently, the production of diesel fuel is restored.
The malfunction of the hydrogen-producing unit did not affect diesel fuel distribution, as the reserves of the Pavlodar Refinery exceeded 20,000 tons. Existing reserves enabled the plant to ship out its daily norm of 5,500 tons per day.
KazMunayGas is the state-owned oil and gas company of Kazakhstan. It was formed by the decree of the President of Kazakhstan dated 20 February 2002 through the merger of Kazakhoil CJSC and Oil&Gas Transportation CJSC.
