Kazakh energy specialists visited Kyrgyzstan

(Kazinform) - Working visit of Kazakhstani power engineers to Kyrgyzstan has come to an end. The course of construction of Kambarata GES-2 (a hydroelectric station) was introduced to them.This visit became the first result of realization of agreements between the presidents of two countries that were signed within the framework of Kyrgyz leaders official visit to Astana city. Generally the parties agreed on large-scale Kazakhstani investments into Kyrgyz economy and in particular they discussed issues on construction of Kambarata hydropower plants that in future could be electric energy suppliers of Kazakhstan, reports Trend.

Kazakh delegation including Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources B. Orazbayev, director of KEGOK department N. Utegulov and chairman of Kaz Kuat energy company board met with the Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Ussenov and visited one object of potential Kazakhstani investments.

Thus Kazakh and Kyrgyz sides reached agreements on further cooperation.
