(Kazakhstan today) - Kyrgyzstan has ratified a decision of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government to establish a structural division for coordination of drug enforcement and its regional group in the Central Asian region. Kurmanbek Bakiyev, President of Kyrgyzstan, has signed a corresponding order, Kazakhstan Today reports citing the Kyrgyz presidential press service, reports Trend.
This division will make part of the Bureau for coordination of combating organized crime and other dangerous crimes on the territory of CIS member states, decision of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government to establish a structural division for coordination of drug enforcement was made on 16 September, 2004, in Astana.
