CSTO commission for military and economic co-operation to meet in Bishkek

(Kazakhstan Today) - The International commission for military and economic co-operation of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) will be carried out from 10 to 11 August in Bishkek, CSTO secretariat told Kazakhstan Today.

"At the meeting it is planned to discuss joint elaboration of normative and technical documentation in the area of creation, operation, modernisation, repair, and utilisation of military products, a necessity of taking collective measures within the organisation to maintain specialisation of ventures and organisations the military-industrial complex, the order of usage and protection of results of intellectual activities and mutual protection of the intellectual property rights, a number of other themes," - Alexander Bulidorov, commission secretary, said, reports Trend.

It is also planned to review results of the commission activities during this year and creation of a working group under the chairman of the International commission for military and economic co-operation.

The CSTO secretariat reminded that the International commission for military and economic co-operation was established as per decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council as of 23 June, 2005.
