Kazakh Government to raise state organs' efficiency

(Kazinform) - Kazakhstan Government will pay greater attention to upgrading public administration efficiency, Vice Premier Karim Massimov has told at todays governmental sitting in Astana, reports Trend.

All the regulatory acts should be approved by the year-end letting thus since January 1, 2007, reduce levels of management in state agencies twofold on an average, implement three-level reward system for public servants, cut the number of civil servants, etc.

It is essential to draft plan for implementation of international quality standards into all the state organs, and to form institution of small business ombudsman.

The list of political government employees should be checked and reduced, Vice Minister noted.

Besides, Massimov has charged to reorganize PMs Office and elaborate proposals how to eliminate bureaucratic procedures by the year-end.
