Kazakh Head of the State unveiled a monument in Almaty
(Kazinform) - Today in Almaty city Kazakh Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev has participated in the solemn ceremony of opening of The Dawn of Liberty monument, dedicated to 20th anniversary of events, occurred December 1986, reports Trend.
Known public figures, participants of the events, taken place December, 1986, members of Zheltoksan movement, reps of political parties, social organizations and national -cultural centers attended the ceremony.
The monument is three-parted and points out first two pylons of intricate shapes symbolizing the breach and conflict of past and future, explosion of nation's consciousness and downfall of ideological canons, triumph of liberty and independence of the state.
Laying the flowers to the monument, Kazakhstan President said that for twenty years Kazakh people have been living in equality, understanding each other and feeling that stability and peace in the country, good relations and equality of all the people become the main thing to lead to success, happiness and prosperity.
