(gazeta.kz) - The Interior Ministry does not give up plans to ban exploitation of right-hand drive cars from 1 January, 2010. Omirzak Tussumov, chairman of the road police committee, Interior Ministry of RK, has stated this today, January 8, at a press conference, reports Trend.
According to Mr. Tussumov, in relation with this the Ministry suggests introducing changes and amendments in a number of legislative acts. He has specified that currently one such draft law is being considered by the government. "So, the decision on the ban on exploitation of the RHD cars will be adopted by the Parliament, not by the Government," - he has said responding to questions from journalists.
