(www.gazeta.kz) вЂ" The Kazakh-Tajik entrepreneurship -forum will take place in Astana in 2007. The arrangement on carrying out the forum of two countries was reached on the eve in Ashkhabad at the meeting of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Tajik leader Emomali Rakhmonov.
According to the press service of the Kazakhstan leader, during the meeting, taken place by the request of the Tadjik party, the urgent questions of development of trade and economic cooperation have been discussed.
The Presidents of the states noted growth of mutual commodity turnover, which in 2006 reached $315 million, and active development of cooperation in investment and financial spheres, reports Trend.
During the meeting the parties discussed the questions of regional security.
As it was informed earlier, the leaders of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan arrived in Ashkhabad to participate in the ceremony of inauguration of the new Turkmenistan President.
