Kazakhstan WTO introduction bilateral agreement signed in Jerusalem

( Kazakhstan Today ) - Following the results of negotiations on Kazakhstan introduction into the World Trading Organization, the bilateral agreements on WTO introduction of the Republic has been signed in Israel, Jerusalem, Israel Embassy informed the agency.

According to the press service, the document has been signed by Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor of Israel Eliyahu Yishai and Vice Minister of Industry and Trade, the special negotiation representative for introduction of the Republic Kazakhstan into WTO Zhanar Aytzhanova. Vice Speaker of the Israeli Knesset - the Chairman of Inter-Parliamentary League of Friendship Israel - Kazakhstan Amnon Cohen and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Vadim Zverkov took part in the meeting.

During the negotiations the questions of access to the Kazakhstan market of high technology and equipment, production of chemical and food-processing industry, and the issues of investment policy concerning foreign companies' delivering computer services to Kazakhstan were discussed.

"Signing of the agreement was an important step towards completion of the process of Kazakhstan WTO introduction. It also promotes further strengthening of trade and economic relations between two states," the press release emphasizes.
