Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan frontier guards to adopt the collaboration plan until 2008

( Kazakhstan Today ) - Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan frontier guards adopted the joint collaboration and interaction plan until 2008, reports KZ-today correspondent with reference to Kyrgyzstan Boundary Office press-service.

According to Kyrgyzstan Boundary Office, the plan was adopted during the visit of the chairman of given service Zamir Moldoshov to Almaty. During his meeting with the Kazakhstani colleague Bolat Zakiyev the engagement on principles and ways of agreements on joint boundary control, signed between two countries, point's realization was entered.

With this purpose both republics boundary bodies chairmen will have a working meeting in the second quarter of 2007 when adjust the opportunities of joint security of the borders. Parties are willing to examine the abilities of joint accommodation of boundary detachments on documents check, transport inspection, and other measures.

Together with executive bodies frontier guards of both countries also plan to initiate changes and supplements to the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan agreement on admission points "New-Mikhailovka" (in Kyrgyzstan) and "Big Chuy Channel" (in Kazakhstan).
