( Kazakhstan Today ) - European Commission will support Kazakhstan candidate for OSCE 2009 presidency, said today on the press-conference in Astana European Commissioner on External Relations and Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
"We want Kazakhstan to get OSCE 2009 presidency if several reforms will be made ", - she said.
"Recently President Nazarbayev declared in his speech that a number of reforms will be made. We would like to see it", - underlined the Commissioner.
"This will be a very good step if the first Central Asian country could get OSCE presidency ", - she thinks.
