( Kazakhstan Today ) OSCE Chairman Spain Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister Miguel Anhel Moratinos hopes for positive decision on Kazakhstani bid for OSCE 2009 Presidency question, reports KZ-today correspondent.
"I hope the consensus during Madrid Ministerial Council on this question will be reached", - said the diplomat today on the briefing after the meeting with RK President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Miguel Moratinos informed that on the meeting with the president parties have talked about Kazakhstan bid for OSCE 2009 Presidency. "Decision on this question as every decision which are taken in OSCE frames will be taken during Ministerial Council which this year takes place in November in Madrid", - reminded the diplomat.
He informed that Kazakhstani leader shared plans on social and democratic development of the country. "I think we have good perspective and support Kazakhstan tries in domestic policy", - stressed OSCE chairman.
He also underlined that " Spain as OSCE chair country welcomes such a big commitment Kazakhstan does in OSCE activities". "I think Kazakhstan could contribute a lot in many questions decisions in OSCE frames", - he said.
