( Kazakhstan Today ) - King of Spain Juan Carlos I is expected to visit Kazakhstan, reports KZ-today correspondent.
"There are invitations to the King of Spain and Spanish Government chair to visit Kazakhstan, and we have to find the optimal date for this visit", - said today on the briefing after the meeting with RK President Nursultan Nazarbayev OSCE Chairman Spain Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister Miguel Anhel Moratinos.
He pointed out that the relations between two countries are "very intense, good, and positive".
According official information, in 2006 commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and Spain amounted USD 1,048 billion and in comparison with 2005 rose by 94%. In 2006 the total amount of Spanish investments into Kazakh economy amounted USD 56 million, Kazakh investment into Spanish economy volume reached USD 77 million. About 23 joint ventures with Spanish shares are registered in Kazakhstan and work in different economic spheres.
