( Kazakhstan Today ) - Kazakhstan OSCE Presidency will be very significant for the organization, said on the briefing the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Goeran Lennmarker, reports KZ-today correspondent.
"We think it will be very significant and useful for OSCE if such country as Kazakhstan takes the presidency", - said Lennmarker on his joint briefing with RK Senate speaker Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev. He also underlined the importance of the forthcoming 2008 17th annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly which is scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan.
Besides, Goeran Lennmarker pointed out Kazakhstani success in economic and democratic development. " Kazakhstan has very good economic development. And it is necessary that economic development will be followed by the democratic as well", - he said stressing that the republic successfully develops in all directions.
