7 October in Kyrgyzstan Announced Mourning Day for Earthquake Victims

Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 6 October / Trend corr. R.Mashadihasanli / Seven October in Kyrgyzstan was announced a mourning day for the people, who died as a result of earthquake. Kyrgyz President K.Bakiyev signed the relevant decree on 6 October, the Kyrgyz Presidentїs Administration told Trend .

Earthquake took place in the territory of Saritash village of Alay District in the Kyrgyz Osh Region on 5 October in 2008. The incident caused human losses, destroyed houses and economic utilities and damaged roads, the decree reports.

At present the relevant services render urgent and other aids to injured people.

The Kyrgyz President expressed a deep grief for the death people and sincere condolences to relatives and friends of the death people.

The Government was commissioned to take comprehensive measures to render aid to families of the death and injured people, as well as to remove consequences of the accident.
