Interim government to insist on Kurmanbek Bakiyev’s extradition
"The interim government will insist of extradition of Kurmanbek Bakiyev to Kyrgyzstan", stated Chairman of the interim government Roza Otunbayeva at the meeting with local activists of Osh oblast, news agency "24.kg" reported.
According to her, appropriate documents have already been prepared. "Today the Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko took Kurmanbek Bakiyev under his wings. I want to say that such actions exacerbate political situation in Belarus itself, where at present the opposition is waking up actively. The opposition rigidly speaks out against the policy of Lukashenko. I think that he himself is guilty in the current situation", considers Roza Otunbayeva.
She notes that Kurmanbek Bakiyev must answer for his deeds in front of the people of KR. "We are accused of letting him out of the country, but we did so in order not to allow destabilization of situation in the country", Otunbayeva added.
