The death toll in south Kyrgyzstan has risen to 309. The press service of the Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Health reported to 24.kg news agency.
According to them, 2,319 people in total have addressed the medical institutions since 10 June 2010. "1,075 of them have been hospitalized, 1,243 patients have received outpatient treatment. At present 141 patients are receiving in-treatment. 209 dead bodies have been received in mortuaries, by-passing hospitals", the press service says.
In particular, 1,653 people have addressed in Osh oblast of Kyrgyzstan, including 786 persons hospitalized. "In Jalal-Abad oblast, 666 persons have sought medical aid, including 289 hospitalized", the Ministry of Health added.
