Kyrgyzstan approved the structure of government. A decree signed by President of transitional Roza Otunbayeva – “On the structure of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and its administrative agencies”.

Kyrgyzstan approved the structure of government. A decree signed by President of transitional Roza Otunbayeva - "On the structure of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and its administrative agencies", news agency "24.kg" reported.

According to the decree, the government structure includes:

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Defence of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Economic Regulation of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of State Property of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministry of Culture and Information of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Committee on Water Resources  and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The same Decree establishes the structure of the government:


Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic;

First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Chairman of the State Committee.

The Decree established the following administrative departments under the Government and under its guidance:

State Antimonopoly Regulation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Agency on Protection of Environment and Forestry under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;


State Agency for Social Welfare under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Agency for Communication under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Agency for Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Agency for Cinematography under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Penitentiary System under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Border Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Customs Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Public Service for Regulation and Supervision of Financial Markets under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

State Registration Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Fund of the State Material Reserves under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Mandatory Health Insurance Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Ministry of State for Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was transformed into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The following media outlets were passed under the control of the Government:

- Publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu";

- Publishing House "Slovo Kyrgyzstana";

- Newspaper "Erkin Too".
