In Kyrgyzstan food is rising in price according to the market analysis of the Ministry of Economic Regulation (MER) of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In Kyrgyzstan food is rising in price according to the market analysis of the Ministry of Economic Regulation (MER) of the Kyrgyz Republic, news agency "24.kg" reported.

Thus, in Bishkek markets rice costs 55-60 soms per kilo getting up by 5 soms comparing with the last week. The price for meat rose at 10 soms within the week and it costs 190-210 soms per kilo.

In the northern region price on vegetable oil increased by 5-18 soms and the oil costs 75-85 soms per liter. MER notes that vegetable oil rose in price from August 15 when Russia temporally banned on grain export.

The sugar rose in price only for 1 som in Issyk-Kul oblast while its price in Bishkek markets remained unchanged and it costs 45-50 soms per kilo.
