Turkey intends to further participate in reconciliation of participants of the interethnic clashes in south Kyrgyzstan, Turkish Ambassador in Kyrgyzstan Nefat Aksal stated at the conference "Interethnic dialogue: consent and tolerance," which was held in Cholpon-Ata city of Issyk-Kul oblast, news agency "24.kg" reported.
"Our people are not indifferent to the fates of Kyrgyzstanis," he said. "We will apply best efforts to unite all ethnic groups in the republic - the Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Dungans, Tartars, Uigurs, Turkmens and the Tajik. And we have already made the first contribution for reconciliation of all nationalities."
According to him, Turkey intends to further provide humanitarian aid for the people that affected during the June events in Kyrgyzstan.
"The conference, conducted in Issyk-Kul, has shown that both the Kyrgyz and Uzbeks are ready to reconcile," Nefat Aksal concluded.
